Sweet Day - SOLD

Several years ago when I started painting, I created a “vision board”. One of my visions was to combine my realistic pencil drawings and colorful abstracts. I struggled for sometime, lost in the fun of playing with paint and drawing. But, not together. Finally, I decided it was time! My intention for this painting was totally different. I was trying to paint like my brush was a pencil! Not working! Too tight~ I let it go for several days picked up my brush and palette knives and just played, mixed and kept my eye on value and composition. I am so pleased with this painting, I hope you will be too!
